Energy Orbs are items that are very difficult to obtain; however, obtaining one, or even a few, can be very rewarding.
General Information[]
The energy orb is used in several devices including the best Drill, Jetpack and Slugpistol.
It can also replace your suit's energy source (normally a Battery). However, the game does not let you drag the energy orb directly into the center position of your suit; it can only be done by dragging your existing energy source (battery or power crystal) onto an energy orb in your inventory, whereupon they will switch places. Once doing this, the suit status recharges in about 65 seconds, compared to 2.25 minutes with a power crystal and 5.5 minutes with a battery equipped.
Powering the suit with an energy orb also significantly increases the player's maximum walking speed to about 15 seconds per superblock (128 blocks) in both "Explore" and "Creative" modes.
